[geolstu-list] Seeking Undergrad for Geology/Geochemistry LSAMP Project

Dear Geology Students:

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded program that will provide support for stipends and research supplies for undergraduate students in STEM majors to do a research project with a TAMUCC faculty.

Dr. Richard Coffin's lab is interested in taking on one undergraduate student through the LSAMP program for an ongoing project studying the geochemistry of sediment cores collected through the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP).

Interested students with a background in geology/geochemistry/chemistry should apply directly through the program website and mention your interest in this project on your application form:
