Dear Colleague,
The American Geosciences Institute is currently seeking outstanding geoscience and geo-related engineering students with a strong interest in federal science policy for our fall geoscience policy internship!
The AGI Geoscience Policy Program represents the geoscience community in Washington DC, and actively works with Congress and federal agencies to foster sound public policy in areas that affect geoscientists, including water, energy, and mineral resources; geologic hazards, environmental protection, and federal funding for geoscience research and education.
Here are some of the benefits of being a policy intern with AGI:
* Represent the geoscience community in Washington, DC.
* Gain first-hand understanding of legislative processes and the operation of executive branch agencies.
* Hone your writing and web publishing skills.
The fall 2017 internship lasts 14 weeks and carries a $5,500 stipend, and offers a negotiable start date.
Apply online at: http://bit.ly/AGIfallintern
APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 15
