Geology / Geoscience Faculty and Staff,

East Texas Communities Foundation is pleased to offer two scholarships for students in your department. The East Texas Geological Society Scholarship is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, be a sophomore, and declared a geology major. Preference will be given to students from East Texas. The scholarship is renewable for up to two years. More detailed information may be found on our website, www.etcf.org<http://www.etcf.org>, under the scholarship tab. Some of your students may also be eligible for the Natural Gas Society of East Texas Scholarship. Eligibility criteria include a minimum 2.75 GPA, sophomore classification, and a declared major in an energy industry field such as geosciences and engineering. We are now accepting applications for both scholarships. The deadline for submission, including all required attachments and references, is March 1, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
