     An excellent talk entitled "Oil Spills, Ethics, and Society: How 
they intersect and where the responsibilities reside" will be delivered 
at the CCGEO's monthly luncheon this month on 15 May.  For students, 
this is an excellent opportunity to meet folks, esp. potential future 
employers downtown, and you also get a free lunch, too (literally!).  
Details below.  All you have to do is RSVP so take a moment to do it

CCGS/CBGS Members,

The Corpus Christi Geological Society and Coastal Bend Geophysical 
Society *May Luncheon* will be held *Wednesday*, *May 15, 2013*at the 
Corpus Christi Town Club.

Thank you to /_Gisler Brothers Logging (Wes Gisler and Mike Gisler)_/, 
our bar sponsor this month. Drinks will be served beginning at 11:30 am, 
lunch will be served at 11:45 am and the meeting will begin at 12 pm.

This month's speaker will be /_Dr. W.C. "Rusty" Riese_/_, AAPG 
Distinguished Lecturer _on /"Oil Spills, Ethics, and Society: How they 
intersect and where the responsibilities reside./" An abstract of his

Luncheon cost for members is $25.00. If you are not a member you can 
join at any time. Students will be admitted at no cost with reservation

sponsorships of CCGS and CBGS members. There will be a $3.00 surcharge 
without reservations.
