     Here's the announcement for the upcoming CCGS/CBGS luncheon this 
month.  Besides hearing a talk about some interesting, applied science, 
and getting to meet potential future employers in the local oil/gas 
industry, as a student, they also cover your lunch!  You just have to 
RSVP ahead of time so they get an accurate head count. I encourage you 
to take advantage of this opportunity, and hope to see you there.

CCGS/CBGS Members,

The Corpus Christi Geological Society and Coastal Bend Geophysical 
Society *March Luncheon* will be held *Wednesday*, *March 20, 2013*at 
the Corpus Christi Town Club.

Thank you to /_Pete Graham with Schlumberger_/, our bar sponsor this 
month. Drinks will be served beginning at 11:30 am, lunch will be served 
at 11:45 am and the meeting will begin at 12 pm.

This month's speaker will be _Jeffrey J. Dravis _on /"Paleotrade winds & 
structural controls on Mesozoic carbonate plays around the Gulf rim/."

Luncheon cost for members is $25.00. If you are not a member you can 
join at any time. Students will be admitted at no cost with reservation

sponsorships of CCGS and CBGS members. There will be a $3.00 surcharge 
without reservations.
