and I'm working on my master’s thesis this summer which deals with diet and
exercise. I would like to inform everyone on the list-serv about

Hi everybody,

   I am a graduate student in the Geospatial Surveying Engineering
program which is part of the College of Science and Engineering
here at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. This summer I am
working on my master’s thesis on Diet, Health and Exercise for
Residents of Nueces County. As many of you are aware, obesity
is a health factor of growing concern in south Texas. We know
that there is a clear link between obesity and the onset of Type
II diabetes. We also know that increasing physical activity
reduces adult Body Mass Index. However, we don’t have enough
information that is local in nature and particular to Nueces
County to help us better understand the relationship between
obesity and physical activity here in our area.

I would like to invite you to help fill this knowledge gap by taking a
diet and exercise survey.

* Will my information be distributed to third parties? No.
