Reminder,

Mahmoud Eldefrawy will be defending his dissertation tomorrow morning, come out and enjoy.  He will be discussing his work on extending the structure from motion (SfM) pipeline, primarily in agricultural application.   SfM is the technology that stitches several images (say from a drone flight over a field) together to create a 3D point cloud (often as a raster of elevations).  The point clouds can be used in agricultural to measure plant height, plant health, estimate crop yields.   Come join us in Oconner 258 for his talk that starts at 10am.
