Greetings Students!

The National Science Foundation (NSF) CREST Center for Geospatial and Environmental Informatics, Modeling and Simulation (GEIMS) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has PhD fellowships to support Coastal Resilience research in three primary problem domains: Geospatial Informatics, Environmental Informatics, and Public Health.

Presently, I am seeking to recruit multiple PhD students (as NSF CREST-GEIMS Fellows) staring Spring, Summer, or Fall 2023 who are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in either Geospatial Computer Science or Costal & Marine System Science at TAMU-CC. Emphasis will be on conducting research in Geospatial Informatics to support Coastal Resiliency. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, coastal zone monitoring using remote sensing and autonomous systems, air-land-spaceborne data fusion, geospatial modeling/GIS, and geospatial artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.

As a CREST Fellow, you will have full tuition, stipend, and fee support for up to four years, conference travel support, and summer research opportunities at collaborative partners across the country. You will also be part of the Measurement Analytics (MANTIS) lab: https://mantisresearch.org/<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmantisresearch.org%2F&data=05%7C01%7Ccosc-grad-students-list%40listserv.tamucc.edu%7C99c347522005443d54c708dad403447e%7C34cbfaf167a64781a9ca514eb2550b66%7C0%7C0%7C638055408352583844%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=soDYg7q2uIsrTfLlIq30ixF6D%2F7Blb0FUl9S54NJCH0%3D&reserved=0>.
