Greetings!
This is an alert regarding the QEM Talent Development and Innovation in Sciences (TDIS) Summer Internship. Attached you will find a flyer describing this summer internship opportunity that we would appreciate your sharing with colleagues and posting on your departmental bulletin board to further ensure that students are aware of this opportunity.
The ten-week, Washington, DC-based internship (May 30-August 4, 2017) is made possible through a grant to the Quality Education for Minorities (QEM) Network from the National Science Foundation (NSF). .
Interns benefits will include:
(1) a $4,000 stipend, ($5,000 for graduate students) payable in three installments during the internship;
(2) paid housing at a local college campus with other QEM summer interns; and
(3) round-trip airfare and ground travel allowances.
Please distribute the flyer and program link http://www.qem.org/qem-internships to eligible students. The application deadline is Friday, March 10, 2017.
The internship is a wonderful educational opportunity and we would greatly appreciate your encouraging students to apply who could benefit from this experience.
If there are any questions, please contact QEM Network at e-mail: qemnetwork at qem.org<mailto:qemnetwork at qem.org> or by telephone at 202-659-1818. Thank you!
