Job purpose

The Web Content Coordinator is responsible for the general oversight of content quality on the College of Science and Engineering website. This will primarily consist of assisting and interacting with college staff to collect content and produce the contents on the college’s web pages, whilst ensuring usability, accuracy and visual look.

Duties and responsibilities

The Web Content Coordinator duties will include but not limited to:

* Oversee the layout, visual look and overall content of the website

* Source images, artwork, videos and other digital media

* Liaise with the Dean’s office staff and other departments in collecting contents

* Maintain the site once it is live and ensure the information is accurate, accessible and user-friendly

* Report any issues to supervisor and suggest solutions

* Keep up with current programming and technological trends

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

* Preferably a STEM major or graphic design background

* Experience with HTML, CSS, content management systems, preferably CASCADE

* Experience in photography and image manipulation required

* Specialized knowledge in Javascript, preferred

* Experience with designing and maintaining web sites

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Able to multitask and be creative
