We are seeking an Application Developer who will build, implement and support web applications and websites. The Developer must work independently as well alongside a team. The Developer will support an array of projects from large scale applications to small website enhancements. The Application Developer will assist in the development of cost-effective technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing applications.
Responsibilities:
•Implements, maintains, troubleshoots and resolves problems relating to websites and web application functionality
•Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
•Takes full responsibility for multiple applications and projects from inception to release
•Assists in establishing coding standards and best practices, ensures these are being followed and promotes code re-use within the team
•Orchestrates delivery of tasks and follows up to ensure deadlines are met
•Provides estimates and helps define required resources
•Collaborates with other Developers to enhance team capabilities
•Interfaces with Business Clients
•Works development and maintenance tasks as needed

BS in Computer Science or related software engineering.
•Good understanding of Object-oriented programming and how to create applications that are easy to extend and maintain
•Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
•Knowledge of .NET, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, XML, Web Services, ColdFusion and IIS
•Knowledge of PHP, WordPress and Drupal helpful
•Microsoft Visual Studio
•Experience developing SQL queries working with SQL Server and MySQL
•Experience with Photo manipulation tools such as PhotoShop, Illustrator a plus.
•Understanding of responsive design implementation
•Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
•Knowledge and expertise with cross browser compatibility issues (CSS, JavaScript)
•Passionate about technology and willingness to continually improve skill set
Preferred:
3 years experience in Web Application Development
