The Graduate Student Association <http://gsa.tamucc.edu/>  (GSA) invites its students and faculty to the first ever Graduate Student Association Research Symposium on Saturday April 21, 2007 at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi campus.

This symposium is open to all academic disciplines, allowing students the chance to gain experience presenting in a professional setting while showcasing their research efforts to the local campus community. Graduate Students are encouraged to present results from their current or past projects, even if preliminary. These presentations will provide the student researcher an opportunity to discuss their research with participants and faculty.

 

Abstract submission deadline is Monday, March 19, 2007 at 5:00pm.
Registration for non-presenting participants will be available on-site the day of the symposium.

 

Registration for the symposium is FREE. 
All costs are being covered by the Kayla Elvira Mungaray Music Scholarship Foundation <http://www.kemmsf.com/> , GSA <http://gsa.tamucc.edu/> , and the office of Graduate Studies and Research <http://gradschool.tamucc.edu/> 

Cash prizes will be awarded for the top Graduate Student presenters. Door prizes will also be given away.
