I am enlisting your assistance in recruiting 3-4 new graduate students into our Masters program at CSU Monterey Bay. Our campus is part of a new NOAA Cooperative Science Center focused on Coastal and Marine Ecosystems. I'm serving as the campus PI for the center:

As part of CSUMB's center funding we are recruiting for 3-4 new Masters positions for Fall 2017. We are able to offer prospective students at least two years of stipend support ($20,000/year), tuition waivers, a research fund of $10,000, support to intern at
 a NOAA facility and conference travel funding. A third year of funding is available contingent on thesis progress.<o:p></o:p></p>

Student thesis research will focus on one of three NOAA/National Ocean Service Priority areas (research areas are not exhaustive):<o:p></o:p></p>

1. Coastal Resilience: Sample subject areas include ecosystem resistance to climate change, ocean acidification, marine debris impacts, aquaculture.<o:p></o:p></p>

2. Coastal Intelligence: Sample subject areas include big data analytics, AUV/ROV design, remote sensing, ocean observation networks.<o:p></o:p></p>

3. Place Based Conservation: Sample subject areas include MPA design, estuary science, coastal conservation and restoration science, geospatial science.<o:p></o:p></p>

 students through the Moss Landing Program include, Alison Haupt, Rikk Kvitek, James Lindholm, Cheryl Logan, Steve Moore and Kerry Nickols. Our complete graduate faculty listing can be found here:
