The innovation in COmputing Research Lab (iCORE) is a multidisciplinary research group that has a focus on computation located in NRC2100. We do computer science related research and we bring computing skills to researchers in other domains.
Anyone who wants to do more with their computing skills than just coursework are welcome to join iCORE. You can propose your own research ideas, or you can work on existing project by yourself or with a team. iCORE has a general meeting every two weeks (with
one this Friday). The meetings start at 3:30 with updates and then at 4:00 we have an event, which could be a workshop or a lecture on various topics, by iCORE members and guests. The attached flyer has more information and some links. If you wish to get
our newsletter and be on our mailing list, the flyers has information on that.
